We want to encourage the development and support of Renewable Electric sites distributed along the power grid to:
- Reduce Pollution and health costs incurred from fossil fuel pollution
- Provide jobs by promoting mid-scale electric generation
- Creating more stable families with less financial stresses
- Reduce the need for military actions to guard oil supplies
- Become energy independent and improve the balance of payments
- Greater availability of electric and less outages by smaller power grid sections
- Lessen any impact by terrorist on electric supplies
- Lower and more stable electrical costs for the USA
- Replace old polluting fossil fuel power plants
- Promote sites as a stable independent family small business
- Broaden the tax base in rural areas by creating hundreds of new businesses
- Keep finances in the locality rather than sending to corporate headquarters
- Help encourage research for electrical energy for the world
- Improve the Quality of life for all
Contents this issue:
Icon – we are looking for a futuristic icon for the group, no
financial awards but your name will appear on the Newsletter and Web site.
The concept is a farm outline with a bolt of electric, maybe RE sources
too.

Awards
– We plan on sending out
an awards certificate to people/groups/organizations/companies that have
contributed to the promotion of Energy Farms or Renewable Energy. There is no timetable or limits on the
number. We are following the Dr. W. Edwards Demming concept of continuous improvements and not the Malcolm
Balridge National Quality Award of just rewarding the
top performer. Please feel free to send in your candidates along with a brief
description as to why we should consider them.
